Purple Cowboy Wines Pour Into the WNFR!
The cowboys are coming to Las Vegas
The cowboys are coming to Las Vegas and Purple Cowboy wines are making sure there will be plenty of wine. The 52nd Wrangler National Final Rodeo, the ten- day competition to crown the world’s rodeo champions, begins Thursday, December 2, 2010 at the Thomas & Mack Arena on the UNLV campus, Las Vegas, Nevada.
Purple Cowboy, the official wine of the Professional Rodeo Cowboy Association, will be popping corks and pouring wine at watering holes around town and all the best rodeo events.
Purple Cowboy’s newest wine, Trail Boss Cabernet Sauvignon, made its debut on Monday at the 3rd Annual Wrangler Gold Buckle Gala at the South Point Hotel & Casino. This wine will be officially released in January 2011 but the legends of rodeo, including this year’s honoree, Larry Mahan, got a special sneak preview at this prestigious event benefiting the Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame.
On Friday, December 3, Wrangler and the PRCA will host the George Strait Invitational Golf Tournament at the Cascata Resort. Purple Cowboy wines will be poured at this sold-out event.
Wednesday, December 8 is the 6th Annual Tough Enough To Wear Pink Night at the WNFR. Purple Cowboy, official wine of TETWP, supports the western community’s fight against breast cancer and wants to remind attendees this evening to wear pink to show their support. TETWP and rodeo committees across the U.S. and Canada have raised over 9 million dollars which goes to breast cancer research and supporting women and families facing breast cancer.
Purple Cowboy wines are proud to be poured at the 23rd Annual Pro Rodeo League of Women Lunch and Fashion Show, 11am to 2pm, in the South Point Grand Ballroom. Proceeds benefit The Justin Cowboy Crisis Fund. Tickets may be purchased at The South Point Box Office (702) 797-8055 or www.southpointcasino.com
